(4)Indonesia was mainly blue because of the sea surrounding every corner, hugging all those pieces of land distributed like if a hand would have thrown them some day thinking they were dices. That intensive blue was mixed with a non less intensive green that invading the little pieces of land among the limitless water. The exuberant power of the tropical forest made the blue weaker than it actually was turning the global colour into a blue-green turquoise. To that tonality is important to add the yellow of the cities and villages, with their local people, cats, dogs and all the rubbish around. That particular cocktail was the colour of Indonesia under the vague and half blind eyes of Kecil-Kupu.
The sound of the little village called Amurang was a melody of bells from the churches and calls from the mosques. The noise of the motors and the donkey’ shoes against the floor of the streets use to take also its space in this organized chaos as a discordant note.

(3)Once in London, Coli and Kecil-Kupu flew over all the green and cold parks thinking they were beautiful. She was so happy of playing among the dry leaves in autumn. Then, one of those days, she met a sticky and ugly worm in the park. He told her that she should join the meeting of insects in the city, she could learn many things and teach them later to other insects.
After an unforgettable weekend in the insect meeting with the beetle, the warm, some big flies and other kind of insects, she made her suitcase to fly again, this time to a place called Indonesia...

(2)Her full name is Kumbang Kupu-Kupu. Her name comes from two Indonesian words “Kumbang” (ladybird) and “kupu-kupu” (butterfly). “Kecil” means little, that’s why insects started to call her Kecil-Kupu to abbreviate her name.
She was a very ugly larva when left her egg in an intense green meadow of the state of Virginia in USA.
Kecil – Kupu realised soon that the rest of the insects did not accept her for being a strange mix between two insects. Apart from that, she could not see very well so she was all the time lost, fact that used to provoke the laughter of the others.
One day jumping among the flowers she met a little and funny humming bird called Coli. In the Spanish language his specie is Colibrí and he was coming from Mexico. He is one of those migratory birds who cross the world during the year looking for food. He asked her why she didn’t go with him and thinking during two seconds she jumped on his back and shout: YES, SHOW ME THE WORDL!!!
Ans so, Kecil-Kupu arrived in London. The Coli’s migratory route was completely different since all the Colibri or hamming birds was coming back to South America over the Gulf of Mexico. http://www.worldofhummingbirds.com/includes/types/album/slides/Ruby-Throated%20Hummingbird.html
Coli and Kecil-Kupu decided to fly together with a big merchant ship. They would go wherever the ship stopped.

(1) It was cold and dark. The days were passing by like the rain through the sewers. Kumbang kupu-kupu was not confident to assist to the insects meeting in central London but finally and thanks to the magic of the destiny she went.
She found there a funny dung beetle with mustache from Holland and a sunbeam broke the grey sky. He convinced her that she could perfectly fly to the other part of the world to learn more about strange insects like her.
